Quinta de Marrocos

Beautiful location and just off the main road, so easy to get to. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

The property was gorgeous- great views and a beautiful old quinta in the valley. The host was wonderful- very accommodating and helpful. The location to the train station was good, check in was easy.

It was quaint and a lovely view from the terrace. The host Cesar Sequeira was very charming and very nice and hospitable. The winery tour and tasting was interesting. It was good that the dinner included the wines also and the host sat with us to have a bottle of Port after dinner with the various other guests also in the lounge room where we chatted together for a couple of hours. All the wine was also very good.

There was a dripping cistern in the bathroom which was a bit annoying to hear during the night but we managed. The pork dish served for dinner was almost inedible with too much salt and the clams were so overcooked they were shrivelled and dry.

It felt like we were staying with family. Very attentive to every detail. Asked multiple times if we needed anything. Packed us sandwiches to go. They genuinely wanted you to enjoy your stay.Cesar, Ana, Cecilia and Joseph were fantastic! We felt like we made new friends! Food and wine were fabulous.

Beautiful location. The view alone worth a stay. Cute little houses. Lovely owner Cesar.

Blankets available but not obvious. We and others had cold first nights. Be sure to ask.

Beautiful location overlooking the river. We really enjoyed the estate tour.
