"The best hostel I have ever stayed in Japan."

Great common space, nice kitchen with sharpened knifes, free washing machine. The hosts are very nice and willing to help. And best of all, they provided portable shampoo and body soap kit so you can go to sento (public bath) without worries!

There is no exhaust system in the kitchen so windows need to be opened for refresh air. However, sometimes there are people smoking right outside the window.

Prachtig oud gebouw in traditioneel Japanse stijl. Voelt heel authentiek, open en gezellig. Behulpzame aanwijzingen en kaarten. Super schoon. Was graag langer gebleven.

Inchecken aan de late kant, maar kan bagage kwijt bij de lobby. Het matras is traditioneel, en dus niet heel dik.

La recepcionista increíble, muy amable y atenta, el hostal quedaba cerca de todo y tenían bicicletas que podíamos usar gratis para recorrer la ciudad

El tatami un poco duro, pero como somos occidentales no es nuestra costumbre

"Great experience overall, would happily stay again"

The vibe was really nice and relaxed. The staff were all genuinely friendly and helpful, not just doing their job but actually making an effort. The rooms and bathrooms were really clean the whole time, which I appreciated a lot. Beds were very comfy too. The common areas were great to hang out in and the kitchen had everything you needed. Location-wise it was pretty convenient, close to everything I needed. Overall it just felt like a safe, chill place to stay. Would definitely come back and recommend it to anyone travelling through!

Honestly, I didn’t have any complaints at all.
