It was a pleasant stay for the weekend, we have enjoyed the cabin and the surrounding. Very helpful staff.

We found the cabin to be extra clean and comfortable. Great place to stay near Snowshoe. Everyone was very friendly! Loved the rustic flair!

This property was EXCEPTIONALLY clean! It appeared that this was a brand new facility in every area we were in. The showers were very clean, including the shower curtain. The toilet looked like it had never been sat on. We stayed in a primitive cabin, with our own locked toilet and locked shower room within a communal building. The entire building was immaculate! Our cabin was perfectly clean as well. The only issue was a torn screen on one of the windows and even with the heat "off", it was too warm to sleep. We opted to turn the breaker off to the heat and slept very well (47-59° outside during our stay). The staff was very friendly and helpful. My son loved feeding the trout and petting the lodge cat. No wifi, ac, or tv in the primitive cabin, but we dont use those things anyway. When i needed to call home, i stood on the porch of the gift shop/lobby/restaurant and got a strong wifi signal to video call. We will definitely be back! We look forward to being lulled to sleep by the Elk River (borders property) again!

We stayed at the lodge and there were other guests staying there too. The other guests stayed up talking in the common areas past 10pm, so I wish the lodge had quiet hours posted in the common areas because people are rude. We stayed at the Sea suite, I wish they had black out curtains for the window facing the living room. The lights are super bright and shine the entire room when one is trying to sleep and other guests are being loud past 10pm.

Actually very nice, the cabins are comfortable, except that there is no refrigerator or Wi-Fi in it, so everything else is fine, excellent for thinking and meditating, 100% recommended.

Very clean. Disappointed they didn’t have breakfast as their ads said the restaurant opened at 9:00 for breakfast.
