La chambre a une bonne grandeur pour 2 personnes, bien situé aussi pour visiter la ville, toutefois, il y a réellement une odeur d’humidité persistante et pas agréable. Même en ouvrant en tout temps les grandes fenêtres ça ne part pas. Cette odeur et d’autant plus désagréable dans la salle de bain en tout temps. À considérer si vous êtes comme moi et avez le nez sensible on avait hâte que notre 2 nuits termine même si nous passons que peu de temps dans la chambre. Nous étions dans la chambre 3

Περπατούσαν στο διπλανό δωμάτιο το βράδυ και νόμιζες ότι είναι κάποιος στο δωμάτιο σου! Έκαναν μπάνιο στο διπλανό δωμάτιο και ακουγοταν ένας πάρα πολύ δυνατός θόρυβος σαν αντλία και έτριζε το δωματιο

We had a great stay me and my friend ! Well located! The supermarket behind it is so practical ! Thank you for the nice welcoming Portugal is a great country! We will be back

We checked in at LeL Madelena Guesthouse on the 21st of March to stay four days in Lisbon. We noticed a weird smell in the room, but we thought it was due to stale air. We tried to open the windows, but it didn’t seem to get any better. On our second day we noticed that the air ventilation in the bathroom was green with mold. We told the reception and they moved us to another room. When it was time to sleep and we closed the internal shutters and discovered that there was also mold in the new room. On the 23rd of March we went to the reception and talked to a manager. His attitude was bad and didn’t take any responsibility. He made it seem like we were in the wrong, and that they did everything that they could to make it okay. But honestly when you pay that much for accommodation, there shouldn’t be an issue with mold in the room. He offered us another room but after staying in two different rooms with mold, we didn’t want to stay at LeL Madelena anymore. He said that we through hotels.com could ask for a refund, but he couldn’t say what amount it would be. We contacted hotels.com and they reached out to the owner, but they refused to give any refund. We were offered a room at another guesthouse 30 minutes away from the city center, but that wasn't comparable to the location of out initial room. Our advice to you is to stay away from LeL Madelena Guesthouse! All we got was a bad experience with two nights in two different rooms with mold and very bad customer service!

Location is really great. Check in was easy. Room was clean and cute.

However, the walls were very thin and we were easily kept awake from neighbors that were talking. In addition, the the rooms were fairly small compared to other locations we stayed at in Portugal.

Honestly only bad things about that stay. The comfort of the bed is a nightmare. The check in too. The wall is thin and you heard everything. Will not come back

We stayed for three nights and all three nights were a challenge. We tried to leave before our first night was completed but they wouldn’t refund anything so we pushed through. For one- the room smelt like a moldy basement. It left my clothes with a smell after leaving. It was strong and awful. My clothes felt damp afterwards which is not good. The walls are so thin. Depending on your neighbors you will hear them snore. You need a code to get into the building and then up to the guest house area and then again into the rooms. You will hear your neighbors coming in and it is so loud we thought they were coming into our room. Don’t expect a good sleep here. It’s convenient to walk everywhere but not worth it imo, I wish we paid up more for a nicer place

Very central location in the heart of the old city of Lisbon and near to many of the sights. The staff were really helpful all round and including explaining local transport routes. There was a 24 hour desk. Facilities were good with a large kitchen available. Would definitely recommend.
