"Exceptional"

We stayed in room 3 for 5 nights ,fantastic view of the harbour. Great location there is free parking on marine drive until march. Also from 6 till 9 in the morning it's okay to leave your car on the street. At 10.30 we had a great English breakfast every day, with our chihuahua Jonesey , served by Libby and the other lovely staff.

Good location Good room

Ridiculous breakfast time - 10.30 am and no breakfast onsite on Mondays had to travel mile up the road to an alternative venue

"Lovely stay even for one night!"

This was a spur of the moment booking as we no longer have our fur baby so decided to have a night away - oh my didn't regret this its an absolutely amazing boutique hotel our room was amazing! Obviously we paid more for new years eve but was still worth the money! Wanted to stay longer!

Lovely room, spacious yet cosy

Double glazing would be a good idea, the cold and the noise were really noticeable. Thicker/black out curtains would be a good idea too, as well as helping with the noise and retaining the heat would also make the room better for sleeping, the room was light all night long due to the neon lighting on the building and surrounding street lights

"I loved our stay, I have problems with my mobility and being down on the key side was ideal."

Our room was huge, it had been kept in it's original state, Mahogany furniture, Chesterfield chairs, a free standing world globe that had a mini bar inside (unfortunatley empty) King size bed and a great view of the harbour. The bathroom had been modernized with a great free standing bath. It was spotless and again huge. Rachael our host was lovely, she made sure we had more coffee and sugar in the room.

There were a couple of minor things that need addressing. A couple of lights that didn't work and our friends TV wouldn't work. We told Rachel and she was going to sort them out as soon as possible. Considering how long they have owned the Ivy I think they are doing really well!

Large room. Clean.

Nesting seagulls all around the windows...woke up from 4.30am (nesting season) Came back from a concert around 11pm so had to find back door entrance to hotel.. didn't feel safe.

The Room was a lovely room and the view was lovely

The fact the room was so cold only one heater working out of three .the shower was old but the bathroom it self was updated 😌 there was lots of dust in the hallway so maybe have better housekeepers 😅
