The hotel was absolutely gorgeous. Explore worthy 100%. Valet was easy, but you have to wait on an active street for your turn. Staff was polite, very pleasant, gave recommendations and hotel information, and signed us up for the rewards program. The room had plenty of walk room. The beds were A+mazing! The lotion and body wash they had were so good, I had to look them up so I could buy them for myself. The shower was huge and had great water pressure. There’s an area on the 5th floor that’s a must see - original stained glass almost from ceiling to floor, beautiful. The lobby has statue art that makes the history of the hotel pop. The craftmenship and detail of the wood and marble, flooring, and furniture left me speechless. Overall exceptional experience!

Very little water pressure in bathroom sink. Bathroom sink drained VERY slowly, which was quite annoying. No waste paper basket in the bathroom. Lighting not good in bathroom.

Very cool historic building boutique hotel, nicely renovated with comfortable rooms and a gorgeous throw-back lobby with a bar, coffee bar and comfortable seating. Hosts one of Kansas City’s excellent fine dining restaurants, The Town Company. Parking is not optimal with the best option being valet service, and downtown KC street and plaza construction poses navigation challenges. Still a great downtown hotel option and an easy walk to convention facilities or conferences at e.g., the Marriott.

Very clean and unique property. Beautiful decor and architecture. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only down side to my stay was I was woken up by house keeping after being asked by staff if I wanted room cleaning and me saying no thank you.
