Very nice stay! It's contactless and the app worked well. The check-in and checkout processes were smooth and clearly spelled out. The apartment was very cute, in a good neighborhood, with lots of food/drink options. And a large tub!! 😁

Beyond Incompetent—A Complete Travel Disaster Kasa Highland Park Dallas turned what should have been a comfortable stay into an absolute travel horror story. While the elevators were mercifully fixed by day 3 of our 7-day stay (after two days of hauling luggage up FOUR FLOORS with a child and elderly person), this was far from the end of our troubles. First, we grudgingly agreed to a partial refund of one and a half nights for the initial fiasco. Fine. But then came the final day, and Kasa managed to outdo itself in sheer incompetence. Our car was towed. Why? Because Kasa’s ambiguous and poorly written checkout instructions failed to mention that the parking tag was required for the final day before leaving. This mistake cost us $200 and a massive amount of stress on our last day. When we brought this to Kasa’s attention, their response was a predictable mix of deflection and indifference. They flat-out refused to take responsibility for their unclear policies, leaving us stuck with the bill for their incompetence. The audacity of advertising themselves as a “tech-driven hotel alternative” while failing at the most basic aspects of hospitality is staggering. Between the elevator disaster, the abysmal customer service, and now this parking fiasco, I can confidently say this was the worst travel experience of my life. Kasa offers empty promises, zero accountability, and a total lack of concern for their guests. I would not even recommend Kasa to my worst enemies

Great property! Stayed there for 5 days, only downfall was that i couldn’t use the washer and management never fixed the problem.

Disappointing Experience Due to Poor Customer Service My recent stay at Kasa Highland Park Dallas left much to be desired. While the unit itself was modern, the lack of a key fob for elevator access created a frustrating and inconvenient experience. My family and I were left waiting in the cold with our children, unable to access our room. Attempts to reach out to management went unanswered, adding to the disappointment. Additionally, the parking situation was chaotic, we spent a lot of time trying to figure hour out where to park, as no clear instructions were provided. We received our assignment at 4:00 AM although we checked in around 10:30 PM. Safety was another concern: the deadbolt on our door was removed, and the parking lot gates were wide open, accessible to anyone in the area. Overall, the lack of responsiveness and attention to guest needs made this stay far below expectations. Improvements in customer service and security measures are necessary for future guests.

Complicated to find unit. Kasa says available 24 hrs but I was on hold for 20 minutes before I hung up

Overall the property was fine. Nothing super great or bad. The only specific feedback that I would give: there was only one lock on the door and it could be opened on the keypad from the outside. They need to add a second deadbolt that can only be locked from the inside -- or a chain or something other way to secure the door from inside. I did not feel totally safe having a door that could be unlocked by anyone on the outside with access to the code. Otherwise my stay was fine.

Spacious with a nice kitchen. However, one TV in living room and low water pressure. Plenty of restaurants close by with SMU college students in the vicinity.

Poor water flow out of the showerhead. The shower tub has permanent stains. Two light bulbs were out.
