Kasa Highland Park Dallas

Apartment was very nice and well stocked. All inside amenities were perfect. Property is a bit confusing and getting in is notbthe most convenient. 2 elevators were then out of service and it was a maze to get in. Other than that, I would return and enjoyed my stay.

Pro: location is great. Cons: The building has strong garbage smell.

We had an awesome time

The apartment was pristine and well appointed; plenty of space for my daughter and me to spread out. The check in process was a bit of a clown show, though: my promised parking spot had another car already parked there (that was never towed throughout our stay, despite my reporting it). I was assigned another spot after contacting the help desk on the phone. Additionally, we were unable to get up the elevator the first time since the "tethered" access key was not in the lockbox as instructed. Another nice couple who were also Kasa guests eventually walked up, shared that they had the same experience the day before, and they let us up in the elevator with them. Once we managed to finally get to our apartment, it was lovely.

The inside of the property was good, although the bed wasn't very comfortable. However, the elevator next to the unit was not working; the hallway was smelly, and the parking lot area was dirty around the stairs and the restaurants below the building. I already reported the inconvenience to the management.

The property is very well located within SMU campus, but the condition and the cleanliness not up to par!!!

The interiors are very good. But our room is just above the pool. It is very noisy outside on Friday and Saturday nights.

I’ve been staying at Kasa Highlands every other week since January 2023 for work travel. I’ve stayed in a variety of the units over that time and really enjoy being off the highway and in a more community-orientated location. The gym is a little run down but has bikes, weights, and a rower. It’s nice having a full kitchen and living room instead of being forced to eat out all the time! There are definitely some shortcuts that got a little irritating after a while though - the units aren’t kept in great repair, there’s often a burnt out light or the tub drains slow, etc. Once the fridge was barely working and despite informing the concierge of the issue, they didn’t fix it until I complained about it again once I ended up in the same unit a few weeks later. The units are stylish and usually pretty clean but the furniture seems worn or cheap. Bathroom toiletries are provided in fancy bottles from the “Public Goods” brand but in reality are just filled from bulk containers of TRESemmé products (the greatest offense being that the hand soap and body wash are just shampoo…). Overall an excellent deal for the money and generally comfortable and safe, just don’t look to closely while you’re there ;)

I like it was an apartment. I just wish the elevator was closer and that i didn't get a parking spot close to a concrete Pilar as the spots were really small not for large suv.

Very nice place. It's a little confusing to get in and figure out where I needed to go. I suggest this location, and it's a clean and nice and well-kept place! The space itself is good, I just felt the hallways were a bit dark outside in the hallway leading up.
