Great Overnight Stay Near Sandpoint We stayed here for just one night and had a great experience. The room was super clean and very comfortable — the bed and pillows were especially cozy, making for a good night’s sleep. It’s also in a convenient location, pretty close to Sandpoint and other local attractions, so it’s a great base if you’re exploring the area. Check-in and check-out were both quick and easy, which we really appreciated. The only minor downside is that the walls are a bit thin, so you can hear your neighbors — but it wasn’t a big issue and didn’t affect our stay at all. Overall, a solid and comfortable place to stay if you’re in the area!

Cute place. Great updates to an older motel. Beds~pillows were comfy. Nice coffee/tea choices. Organic soaps. Very nice staff. You get a keycoad to enter so no longer check-in process.

Great place but traffic noise all night. There's also train tracks not far but they didn't seem to bad.

"Sandpoint's Best Base Camp"

10.0

A kitchenette with a DOUBLE sink? Yes! That sink and so many 5-star reviews sold me on staying here. Hubby and I bring home-cooked food on our road trips, along with coolers, an electric kettle, and a toaster oven—everything but the kitchen sink ;-). Our room was spacious, uncluttered, and equipped with sturdy wooden luggage racks, extra electrical outlets, and chunky coat hooks by the door and in the bathroom. Having a normal-weight entry door with a keypad lock meant easy self-check-in, no lost keys, and no heavy door slamming and locking every time someone goes in or out. The parking spaces are extra wide, and I'd forgotten just how convenient it is to have our car right outside the door. I've stayed at three other hotels in the area, and the small-but-mighty Outdoors Inn offers more amenities than those three combined. Amy, Sam, Kate, and Eric are as wonderful and attentive as described in all those 5-star reviews, so I'll comment on "the elephant in the motel room" (the busy highway and railroad tracks). The noise and occasional fumes are manageable and a good reminder to get out and explore all that North Idaho has to offer. You didn't book a spa, you booked a base camp. Now get going!!

"Great place to stop for the night."

10.0

Very cool rooms, and the owners are great to work with. The price was great too. It’s close to anything one would want to do around Sandpoint. We hiked around the lake and took in the awesome scenery. The breakfast place nearby (Hoots) was solid as well. I hope to come visit again!
