Hotel Effie Sandestin Resort, Autograph Collection

Jacob working the Valet (Night Crew) was one of the best parts of my trip. I sincerely hope The Effie recognizes the value of the position and the tone it sets for the entire stay. Coming from a service industry background, I find it rare people can have a genuine conversation that isn’t motivated by compensation. Jacob, in the 45 minutes or so that I talked to him was a refreshing change to the now “norm” of the industry . Jacob, if this reaches you, I hope to see you again , but not at The Effie . The next time I see you it better be because I’m pulling your NBA rookie card . Vincent you’re cool too , we didn’t get to talk much , but I got a good vibe . Also, there was one more guy who comes in at around 11pm , like a closer in baseball. Solid dude , very helpful, just making things happen! Day Crew definitely calls fouls in pickup though… Night Crew plays “no blood no foul”. Just kidding Day Crew… you guys were awesome this whole trip and I wish you all the best . Thank you guys !

Great service and amenities. Toilet issues by or was resolved very quickly.

Loren our server was excellent. The restaurant was full, but she always managed to check on us. The bar tender was overwhelmed and not helpful, but Loren found wine glasses and took care of us despite being so busy. The food was delicious and perfectly fresh and seasoned. A must visit in SanDestin!

Property was absolutely beautiful. Great customer service and great food options. Will definitely be back.
