Lodge at Tap Haus

Warmly Greeted by front of house gentleman However the hotel was very dated and in need of an overhaul The stairs and hallway were dirty and scruffy and in need of painting The carpet in the room was old and looking rather dirty Linen was clean and bed was comfortable Shower was dated Seal around the shower was falling off And water pressure was poor

The staff were really friendly, knowledgeble and welcoming. I thought £89 was not value for money. But I was given a 25% discount on the food - which was delicious.

The room would have benefitted from re-painting and cosmetic issues in places, The shower was too hot and I was scalded at one point.

We've drank and dined it the Tap Haus numerous times but have.never previously stayed there. The location is ideal for Mansfield and parking was plentiful. . The rooms are quite basic but do have tea and coffee facilities and we're very clean. We found that the Manager was very accommodating and helpful

We had only one thin pillow each, which made my sleep somewhat disturbed.

I arrived late but was still welcomed warmly and served with food and drink. The staff were all friendly and courteous. The room itself was everything I expected. I will definitely be back.

Some parts of the room where not cleaned and some of the walls had plaster coming off

There was no breakfast available.

Just having breakfast there, before travelling home.

Staff were polite and friendly on arrival. While shown to our room and explained where things were, we were informed that if we ate at the lodge we would have money taken off our bill due to staying with them, which we thought was very nice. The beds were very comfy, but I would recommend having 2 pillows instead of one as the pillows were soft, but overall a very pleasant stay.
