The host showed true hospitality during our stay. We were only there for one night, but she helped us book the correct tickets to the great wall, find good food, good souvenirs, and a free tea ceremony! Plus complimentary gifts and a very comfortable room. Amazing value!

If you're looking for a home away from home, this is the place for you. My family and I enjoyed our stay here, it was comfortable and peaceful. Our host and her family were kind and warm. The daily breakfasts were amazing, dinner on one occasion was excellent too. Great location it's near the water, a hiking spot, some cool restaurants and only 15 min drive to Mutianyu Great wall.

The stairs were very steep. Something to be cautious about when traveling with elderly or very little children.

We checked in ode hours 4:30am, Angel, Tony & Emma are wonderful people, they receive us with all their heart. Their service is more than just everything of making sure our stay is unforgettable. The helicopter ride looking down the magnificent The Great Wall recommended by Angel was an excellent experience, my blind uncle was so happy with tears, aunty was laughing like a little girl! Every morning (we stayed 2 nights) they served us I might say breakfast for king! With many dishes, fresh fruits and brewing fresh green tea. My aunty loves so much the green tea & asked whether they sell it and they do…. So much to say about…. I have been travelling around the world a lot, this is a very unique experience, feel at home, not a boring commercial hotel. We shall come back one day in autumn season. Xiexie (thank you)

The location is excellent as it is set at the foot of the mountains and is only about 7 minutes away from the Great Wall. The hosts are very helpful and kind, and can speak English. They assist with getting around the area, and arranged our tickets to the Great Wall, which was very helpful because very few people speak English in China. Because the property is owner managed, visitors get that personal touch of having a freshly prepared meal that is delicious, and assistance that is just around the corner. The hosts arranged our airport shuttle, and even accompanied us to the doctor when my husband injured his leg. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone wishing to visit the Great Wall in the peaceful and pristine setting of Mutianyu.

Angel and her husband were very welcoming into their beautiful home. The rooms were perfect for our family of four, the location is perfect for the Great Wall and the breakfast was delicious. Angel was a fantastic tour guide, taking us up to the Great Wall and making it a very informative, memorable experience. I would recommend asking her as she also does broader Beijing city tours.

Stayed two nights in the peaceful countryside, this nice accommodation provides the ideal escape from busy city life. The host Angel and Tony were so hospitality. We stayed here as if we were at home.
