Flower Yard

I wanted to enjoyed the Sunrise on the Wall. So just tried to book a hotel in that area to stay overnight. It was a last minute decision, but luckily booked with this place. Excellent service, clean room, nice simple breakfast. Angel even had a car to take me to the Wall the second day in the early morning. Really enjoyed the relaxing walking after breakfast along the river in the village. What a memorable trip!

The surroundings are beautiful

This hotel is run by a couple, Angel and Tony. They are very great.They picked us up from the Beijing Capital international airport to the hotel and booked tickets for the Mutianyu Great Wall, including cable car and slide tickets, which really made things convenient for us. They also provided free shuttle buses to pick up and drop off guests who staying at Flower Yard. After the Great Wall, they picked us up again and brought us back to the hotel. It was so convenient! There are Tony's oil paintings all over the hotel, and it turns out that Tony is an artist. I really like it here!

Angel and Tony are great hosts who offer free shuttle bus service for guests staying at their hotel. It took about 6 minutes from their hotel to the Mutianyu Great Wall. Angel also offered to accompany us for free to climb the Great Wall and explain a history about Mutianyu Great Wall. The breakfast was very delicious. The coffee they brew on the spot is very delicious. The rooms are clean and cozy. Especially the mattress was very comfortable. If you want to climb Mutianyu Great Wall, I highly recommend Flower Yard.

Amazing place to stay, perfect for solo female travellers. It is a family run business with great spacious rooms and very clean. Angel is wonderful host and goes above and beyond for her guests. The breakfast was delious and both dietary requirments were catered for, and being Vegan has not been easy since landing in China. The B&B is a 6minute drive from the Great Wall of China and they will help you organsise your route there and also help with any questions around the Great Wall of China. Advice for travelling to this B&B is to make you driver call Angel and also make sure they have WeChat to keep the route simple, with no traffic this is a one hour to one hour and fifteen minute jouney to Beijing Centre.

Angel and Tony were the perfect hosts. Not only were they very nice and welcoming but they were very accommodating and helpful with everything. Angel booked us the tickets to the Great Wall as well as accompanied us there and to a tea ceremony afterwards. The rooms were very nice and comfortable and the homestay was also very well decorated with paintings made by Tony. The breakfast they prepared was tasty and they tailor it to their guests. After forgetting a piece of clothes at the hotel, they immediately offered to have it shipped to our hotel in Beijing. I could not recommend this homestay more highly if you are thinking of visiting the Great Wall!

We planned a trip to see the Mutainyu section of the "China Great Wall" and saw "Flower Yard" on Booking.com. We weren't expecting much, and we were delighted by the service that Angel (Owner) offered us. If you want to plan a trip to the Great Wall or just head out to a comfortable country area in Beijing this is your spot! Exceptional guild service at the Great Wall and Bed & Breakfast, we will be back this springtime!!

This place is Great if you looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. So, for us it has everything we needed.

tasty，homemade！The owner Angel and Tony were so hospitality. They picked us from Beijing capital international airport to hotel. The hotel is so beautiful with lots of oil paintings on the wall. The room was comfortable. The breakfast was yummy with good coffee. Also Tony provided free shuttle bus to bring us from hotel to the Mutianyu Great Wall and took us to the hotel when we finished it. I highly recommend Flower Yard! We will come back again.

everything nice！

The location is super close to Mutianyu Great Wall. For a sole traveler without car beside, it is so convenient to arrange a pickup service from Beijing airport to either the Great Wall or the hostel. The host, Angel, is so hospitable, friendly, and passionate about introducing the history of the Great Wall and the culture in Beijing. The room is big and the bed is comfortable. Coffee and breakfast are so nice. It was great to stay for a holiday.

There are some mosquitos inside the room, which proves that the room is surrounded by nature.
