Casa Al Prato Apt. G

Good location. Best view from the balcony in the common area for sure. Not far from everything. Walkable from the train station. The staff answer email quickly. The place is this big and has everything they mentioned with complimentary snack and drinks. The only thing they can improve this the cleanness. I've found a glass of wine with lipstick stains on a clean glass cabinet. The dusty hairdyer. The room and sheets feel a bit dusty.

The location was so close to all the restaurants and lake. We could see the waterfront from our balcony. The apartment was very cosy and had everything we needed.

The situation of the apartment was only a few yards from the edge of the lake close to the main square and restaurants. There is a veranda where the views are tremendous however is not shown on the booking advert. We spent several hours mainly on a night looking over to the lake. It is so peaceful after 10pm at night that we really relaxed on an evening after our meal. I have stayed at Bellagio in the past however this apartment far exceeded the other. Not too far a walk to and from the ferry and train station. Do yourself a favour and hire a boat for 3 hours to see the lake from the water, well worth the money

At this time of year there was no need for blankets, even though they were there, however 2 pillows would have been good. I am unable to find much wrong that I did not like as there was every utensil you could need in the apartment

Central location to the town/village and easy access via ferry to other more touristy spots. The apartment was spacious and had good facilities. Mostly quiet at night and everything is within a 10 minute walk. Lovely place to visit without the 1000s of tourists in Belaggio.

Felt like some of the facilities need a refresh. E.g Toilet seat was broken but otherwise all good.

The apartment is beautiful with everything you would need. The location is just fabulous. Near to everything. It has an outside terrace which overlooks the Lake and is a dream to sit out on in the evening.

No air conditioning in the apartment. Fans are provided but AC would have made it perfect.

we had trouble finding the location and the keys, called the provided phone numbers several times but no one picked up. after 2 hours of searching a local waiter from a nearby restaurant helped us search. lights in the bathroom did not work, windows would blow open if there was a bit wind. the view from the pictures can only be seen from specific angles

No instructions on what to do with rubbish or recycling. The bed sheets kept coming off the mattress during the night. Doonas had no cover.

The apartment is centrally located in Varenna but in a quiet corner. It has everything you need for a holiday. The apartment was clean and spacious and had 2 bedroom however we only need 1. The living area was very spacious, the kitchen was well equipped and, the lounge was comfortable and the bathroom with a washing machine was very good. There was a “welcome food box” to help us with the first night and morning which was very much appreciated. Thank you so much to the property managers. A delightful stay. Would highly recommend. The Al Prato restaurant,below the apartments, was a real find. The best meal I have ever had. Beautiful food, great menu, lovely staff, terrific location … you should make a booking before you arrive if you can.

Being travellers with very little Italian we really struggled finding the exact location of the property. Instructions to get to the property SHOULD say, find the Al Prato Restaurant, go up the side pathway or road and you will see a large gate above and behind the restaurant. Only then will you find the number 18. The restaurant said 6.
