D'Lecia Ha Long Hotel

Staff was very friendly and welcoming. They did inform us of the game that was going on and would be welcome to watch in the lobby. We did watch in the lobby and had a great time, room service was average but but disappointed. Would definitely stay again!

Really nice rooms, lobby and pool terrace. Hotel is exactly as pictured.

The location is in local part of Ha Long, not much for tourists to do, need a taxi to the bay area. The TV in rooms is very old and doesnt support any modern on-demand platforms. Off season the hotel was extremely empty.

Good location

Despite photos looking grand they don’t really offer premium service as expected. The place was a ghost hotel I’m sure we were the only two guests. Breakfast was free but I certainly wouldn’t have paid for what was on offer. The deal was drastically reduced for the stay like 80% off the normal rate so cheap enough but you don’t get what you pay for

Very nice large clean room

Swimming pool was not heated so too cold to use it, would be perfect if it would be heated. Breakfast was not the greatest, as vegetarian had not a lot of options

The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable and the rooms were a decent size. The bathrooms were fantastic and clean. After not having a hot shower for a few days my family and I really appreciated a working shower with perfect temperature water. The pool in the 4th floor was great - the hotel needs to invest in a pool cleaner - there were black things floating in the water.

The food was a little strange. They claimed to have a Western menu…and after suffering food poisoning at our previous stay, we just wanted simple plain food we knew. The chicken nuggets and chips my daughter ordered were arancini balls 🤷‍♀️ and the chips were a tad cold. In fact, all the food came out cold. The hotel is far from the international port and the “centre” but if you’re not planning on venturing out too much, it’s fine.

Felt like a ghost town. More staff than guests and felt like they weren’t interested in helping us check in. The breakfast was cold but I guess that’s understandable when they put on a buffet and no one attends. We didn’t eat until ~0830 and we were the first ones there. We only stayed 1/3 nights we had booked around a cruise. Very little to do here and you’re beyond walking distance from anywhere

The location was great, and the hotel was amazing. The staff is friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this place 🥰 it's definitely value for money
