I’m writing this review even though I never stayed at Albergo Chalet Lago Antorno, because their exceptional customer service deserves recognition. My wife and I had planned this as our honeymoon trip from Hong Kong to the beautiful Dolomites. Unfortunately, I injured my ankle in a basketball accident shortly before our trip, making it unsafe for me to drive on our planned self-driving tour. When I contacted the hotel explaining my situation, Mario Corte responded with immediate understanding and compassion. Without hesitation, he approved a free cancellation, showing genuine care for our circumstances rather than focusing solely on business. In an industry where flexibility can be rare, this hotel demonstrated what true hospitality means - putting guests’ wellbeing first. Their integrity and kindness during a difficult time for us has left a lasting impression. I wholeheartedly recommend Albergo Chalet Lago Antorno, and we genuinely hope to visit in the future to experience their hospitality in person. Thank you, Mario, for your humanity and understanding.
