Madame Isabelle's House

The staff was welcoming and fun to interact with. The house was really comfortable and clean. I met some aweseome people and had a great time staying there. The location is killer, you cant beat it.

Nothing really. Obviously Id prefer a room solo but the bunk beds made me feel like I was in adult camp.

Das Haus liegt in die schönste Viertel in New Orleans. Es gab Frühstück und snacks am Nachmittag. Riesige Küche mit ausgezeichneten Ausstattung. Das Personal is top!

Me gustó mucho el lugar, es bastante cálido y acogedor sobre todo para una persona que viaja sola. Tienen eventos casi todos los días dentro del mismo hospedaje. Desayuno muy bueno y espacios muy cómodos para estar. :)

La ubicación es un poquito alejada de las zonas más turísticas y de noche está muy oscuro transitar. A veces no te tocan roomies que respeten el espacio compartido por el ruido, pero normal en una habitación para 8 personas.

The location is spectacular - it's a relatively short walk to Frenchman Street, Bourbon Street, and Armstrong Park, affording you an easy way to get around. I walked everywhere and felt perfectly safe as a single woman (within reason, of course!). The breakfast was also great with a few different options to keep you fed, like bagels, toast, cereal, oatmeal, hard-boiled eggs, ham, fruit. And plenty of coffee too! The room was also really great. I am a light sleeper, so I worried that I might not appreciate sharing a room with so many people. However, the curtains on the beds help provide extra privacy and the entire house was incredibly clean. The employees are also so kind and welcoming, it really made all the difference for me as a solo traveler. Melissa and Felix were especially lovely and provided so much warmth and joy for every guest. Finally, the vibes are immaculate! The whole house is brimming with really nice people (both staff and guests), giving you opportunities to have quiet, chill conversations or more lively, exciting events too.

I would have preferred a bottom bunk for both stays, but I also understand that it's simply the luck of the draw.
