San Felipe Beach Hotel

Location was nice, right on the beach. Clean beach

This Hotel sits beachfront on the Sea of Cortez. Very comfortable bed and shower pressure was fantastic. We were here during Covid so no food on property. Parking is safe and secure.

The hotel staff was very professional and the customer service excelled my expectations. They were able to provide a room that was updated, clean, and with ocean views. At night, the security officers made us feel safe during late hours. All guests and cars must have the appropriate hotel wristbands and placards for safety and control of outsiders. The hotel also had very good lighting at night. The hotel's covid protocol is on point with plenty of safe precautions. Hotel amenities are in fire: beach front property, volleyball net, outside restrooms, pool with views to the ocean, and tables with hammocks under cover patio to just relax and enjoy the ocean breeze.

Check in was terrible. Didn’t even tell us room number until we asked. Gave us wrong room remote. Numerous children at the pool screaming. No real information given to us. People outside our room being very noisy until late at night. Toilet had paper on it that stated sanitized but had to wipe off black dust prior to using.

Air conditioning in room was not very effective. No one at the front office and it was hotter than an oven..
