Felt more like a 5-Star hotel and luxurious. The decor and fit-out of the hotel interior were excellent. The rooms were spacious and the bathroom and toilet were of a high standard. The breakfast buffet was OUTSTANDING. We had dinner in the hotel on multiple occasions and found the quality very good. Staff were truly EXCEPTIONAL and went out of their way to help make out stay a memorable experience. Location was a very convenient short walk to the Kyoto train station.

Could consider catering for guests with special dietary requirements such as offering oat or almond milk in addition to just soy milk. Low fat milk too would be great.

Very clean and modern hotel with great front-desk staff. Room was relatively well sized for Japanese standards, coming with a small lounge and desk.

We found ourselves commuting to the train station fairly frequently, which isn't particularly far but not super close either - about 10min walk each way. Lighting within the rooms could have also been brighter.
