Check-in was smooth and we felt warmly welcomed. Our room was comfortable and plenty warm enough given we checked in at 9pm. Breakfast was standard with ample choice and the service exemplary - Julie and Dinah both efficient, friendly and professional. Nothing too much trouble.

No space to park in hotel carpark when we arrived at 9pm (wedding party in full swing so presumably a number of guests also staying overnight). The bathroom was pretty basic, shower (in bath) pressure a bit lame.

"Absolutely Lovely!"

We had such a lovely stay at The Bell! My partner and I were in the area for a funeral and as a result wanted to stay somewhere that felt cosy, and friendly. The Bell was exactly that! The room was gorgeous, so clean and well stocked with teas and coffees. All the staff were so welcoming and kind. We were able to check in slightly early which was really appreciated, and breakfast was absolutely delicious! We felt so taken care of, especially with the additional toast, jam and marmalade provided along with our actual ordered breakfast (We both had a delicious Eggs Royale). The breakfast area was beautiful too, it had a gorgeous old fireplace and great decor. We had a lovely chat with a one of the staff, called Sally and we had a laugh about all number of things, which was really appreciated after quite an emotional funeral the day before. Overall, we would absolutely stay at The Bell again, it was so lovely and completely exceeded our expectations. Thank you so much! 😊
