"Worth the stay"

Very cosy place, perfect for solo travellers. I was lucky to get a last min booking. About 7 min walk to main town area, 12 min walk to ski slope.

Everything was perfect. From the kind-hearted owners who were both approachable and helpful to the residence itself. We had a whole section of the bottom floor to ourselves, and the room was bigger than most normal rooms. The beds were traditional Japanese-style, and ever-so comfortable. The onsen was also quite nice for a moment of peace, and there was easy access to our room from both upstairs and the drying room where we entered with our ski equipment

We loved our stay at Peanuts House! The owners are very friendly and the apple juice and chocolates and other treats were very thoughtful! Our room was a great size. The onsen was a bonus! The location, perfect. Highly recommend!

"Excellent option for enjoying skiing at Nozawa"

Was a quaint guest house with excellent service. Nice and central to the restaurants and an easy 10 min walk to the gondola (hire skis next to the gondola - we went Thanx and leave them there along with your boots each night). Excellent drying room which did the job each night. Fantastic traditional breakfast is also a must try.

Nothing - it’s a bit tired but it adds to the charm.
