La Placita Inn

Some of the staff was excellent! Leona was so helpful. Other staff members not so much. Missed having a bar.. the pool/beach area that was available was nice. Place was very clean

I really liked the SIZE of the Inn and Surrounding Area, given that I wear a Prosthesis. It was NICE and Manageable, and having The Thirsty Turtle and the Pizza Shop next to it, made this choice VERY NICE ! What we disliked was THE RAIN, but that was nobody's fault. Definitely would visit them again. AND, we met some nice couples there, who go there annually.

Everything was absolutely amazing, the food was delicious and the service staff went above and beyond

The hotel is small and cute with a quaint lodge feel. The “plaza” behind the hotel is filled with eating options and gift shops. The very nice pool and gorgeous beach is easily accessed with a very short walk. The beach was very clean and beautiful.

Nice Property with confortable rooms. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Very good breakfast selection. Will definitely return.

Love love love la placita inn. Jesse who was at front desk was super helpful and kind and always helped us if we needed. He was the best! I would definitely come back for vacation again. The walk to the beach is literally a 2 minute walk but we’re also in our late 20s so take that with what you will be so amazing!

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The housekeeper decorated our room for our anniversary and her efforts were very much appreciated. The music from the patio area is way too loud, although it stops at 9:30 pm. The volume is excessive and will result in hearing damage to the staff who work the evening shifts. The cost was a bargain but I would have preferred to be closer to the reef rather than a ten minute walk from where I wanted to enter the water. The pool access and outdoor showers next door were nice. I would recommend this hotel as a good, safe, hospitable accommodation for others looking for a good deal in West Bay, however I would warn them about the loud music so they know what to expect.

The restaurant on the property is good, but closed after lunch. So there was no dinner option on the property. However, there are many other options very close by, and we did visit in late October, which is considered the off-season. Rain-shower head is nice, but it is about 9 feet in the air. So, the water pressure for showering is very low. Takes a long time to rinse soap, and forever to get the oil off after a massage.
