Acadia Pines Motel

This is an old school very basic motel. Comfortable, clean and very reasonable. Although this is not a 5 star hotel, I slept better here than I have in fancier places. The staff is wonderful. I called ahead since I thought we would be arriving very late and the front desk clerk was absolutely warm and welcoming. I believe her name is Yolandi. I met the housekeeping woman the next morning and she told me not to rush, but let her know when I was done with the room and she'd be by to tidy up. The room had free wi-fi, cable TV and a small refrigerator. There are chairs and table outside each room. It was easy to find and the property was quiet even though it was on the main road. I appreciated that each room had an assigned parking space. Coming in late, it is appreciated that you can park in front of your room.

The rooms are a little dated, but I noticed improvements were being made such as new mini-split heating/cooling was recently installed.

The rooms are well off the main road and quiet, there are a few very good eateries a short walk such as a Grill and the other way a Lobster-shack.

Not much to dislike, these are good, basic digs.

The room was a comfortable size, and included two small tables, a refrigerator and microwave. It was an older facility but had been nicely updated. Grounds were spacious and included a firepit, a barbecue grill and an outdoor pool. Staff cleaned and straightened the room each day. A bonus was that it was very close to the town.

This property was a good value - clean room, comfy beds, friendly staff, and good proximity to Acadia National Park & downtown Bar Harbor.

Quiet location, close to Acadia National Park. Limited hot water, especially in the AM.

The location was very good for visiting Bar Harbor and Acadia Park.

No shower pressure at all. Took forever to get soap off. It was a dump for the most part. It was NOT worth $244.00 per night! Maybe 60-70 dollars. It was the only thing we could find with a vacancy

Bathtub had mat glued to bottom of tub half peeling up that was covered in mold.

Very quiet!!! Spacious room.

Mattresses could be a little better. Back of motel should be cleaned up. Better lighting at entrances. Very difficult to see in the dark.
