The building is old, the hotel smells bad, and the floors are dirty. The bedding is very old, washed out, and stained. A noisy group arrived at 3:30 a.m., playing music and talking until almost 5 a.m., making it impossible to sleep. It was a bad and unpleasant experience. It's best not to go there with children.

lovely staff. felt safe enough - cameras, pin code to enter door etc. very affordable.

would say more of a hostel than hotel tbh, room was pretty much some bunk beds & a double bed, wardrobe, & stuff for tea. comfortable enough. bathroom & shower room are shared with whole floor

The room was clean, quite and peaceful to have good sleep.

There was a side table at only one side of the double bed (for phone, spectacles, book etc.). There was only one central pendant light, no easy to reach side lamp at the side of the bed.

I had a pleasant stay at Groton Mount Hotel. It’s a quiet place and good value for the price. The room was comfortable, though it could use a bit more attention to cleanliness. I have stayed here for four days and what really made the difference was the receptionist, who was very professional welcoming and really smart guy. During check-in he took the time to explain everything and make sure I was settled in. This kind of service really stands out and make difference for my stay.

The room was quite small, and although a cleaner came around, but never asked if I wanted my room cleaned, which was a bit disappointing. Cleanliness could definitely be improved.

I really enjoyed my stay at Groton Mount Hotel. The hotel needs to improve the room cleanness in general and need to do some room for improvements. Other than this, It’s quiet, which makes it perfect for a peaceful rest, and the price is very reasonable and free car parking as well. The room was comfortable for the price i guess, and I was especially pleased with the service from the receptionist, Bini. He provided everything I asked for, showed me around, and explained all I needed to know for my stay. He was professional, kind, and very helpful during check in, which truly made my stay better. It’s always a relief to be greeted with a smile after a long and tiring journey. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again!
