GBGood location near family home 200 yards away
GBThe location to The Clarkes Shopping Village is great. Our room was a very good twin with a large bathroom and a little kitchen area. The whole property was lovely and warm. There was ample car parking space. The breakfast was cooked fresh and made with tasty ingredients.

GBVery conveniently situated for access to several key locations (Glastonbury/Street.etc),and also very handy for our destination in particular (Shapwick). Also, our host Simon laid on a hearty breakfast.

GBI cannot rate this b&b highly enough Helen and Simon were amazing hosts and they welcomed us into the lawns tea room like we were family. We had an apartment Room which was amazing I have never stayed in a b&b with so much space it had a lounge, bedroom and a kitchenette. the place was spotless and the bed was so comfortable. Our friends rooms were also a great size and spotless. Breakfast was amazing freshly cooked to order piping hot and plenty of choice I would stay here again and would highly recommend it to everyone.
Friendly owner. Comfortable room (but on the small side). Parking quite tight. Good breakfast. Fairly isolated location (you need a car).
GBNothing. Didn't stay.
Sewerage smell in bedroom from the ensuite bathroom that had been closed off. Would have to use other bathroom across the landing. Scruffy throughout. Looked liked a rundown old care home. Watermarks on wallpaper, odd marks on wall... and for £90 per room, we felt it was an absolute rip off. The owner wasn't there when we arrived. We had to phone him to get in. We dropped off our bags as visiting for bridgwater carnival so as we were out, I then rang him stating about the closed off toilet and the smell. He stated he would go back 30 minutes later and sort it out. No phone call on what he had done. On returning he had sprayed air freshener trying to mask the stench. Didn't succeed. No one around to speak to so we left.
Simon was wonderful - friendly and a fine cook for the full English breakfast. Fresh fruit on the side
