The outdoor tub, location, cleanliness, comfortable futons, responsive site manager, washer.

No place to hang clothes, towels or wardrobe to keep our clothes in. As such had to live out of our suitcases the full week.

"Tabitabi moonlight was a very great stay in Kyoto!"

We loved everything of this property! The communication from the start was excellent. The neighborhood was very cozy. The home was one of our favorite places on our trip. Would’ve loved to stay there even longer.

Nothing! Everything was great. We just didn’t know where to place our garbage though.

"Gorgeous place + great location"

gorgeous place to stay, meticulously maintained and modernized yet traditional Japanese at the same time. comes with a kitchenette two bathrooms and two showers. 6 mins from the train station. 5 mins from a mall and activity center.

the beds, though all of Japan seemingly doesn’t have much of any mattresses. The beds were like 1” thick mattress pads.

Even though Google maps says 7 minutes, if you take the short cut it takes about 3-4 minutes to walk to the property. The property is quite beautiful, it's in a quiet neighborhood and close to 7/11 too! The futons are comfortable and clean!

I feel like there's a tradeoff between aesthetics for usability. We became increasingly confused by small inconveniences, like: there's no towel rack in the washrooms? there's no light for the outdoor bath?? there's a stove but no pot? But again, they're so small. We would've loved for the owners to give us more instructions, e.g.: on how to sort garbage, what we need to do before we leave, etc. We wanted to help but had no idea what we were doing.

"Excellent stay in Kyoto"

Comfy and cozy. This place is exactly same as per photos. The tub outside of the house and dyson hairdryer are plus points. I went to so many hotels before and this is the first that provided kid size toothbrush for my kid. So thoughtful. They would also answered my enquiries promptly. Overall I am satisfied with the stay. Thank you so much.

There's no housekeeping service. But it's not a big issue as we can just throw the rubbish outside of the house once the bin is full.
