- Very nice place - Bathtub in the garden - Really nice garden - Good location

- House was a little too cold, even with the heater on it was tough to sleep

Free drinks in the property, very easy to check in, good location and beautiful, traditionally Japanese interior design. Bath was incredible!

The air con remote is in Japanese so we struggled to use it properly. When we woke up, it was very cold in the property (but this was user error).

Very cold in winter. Air conditioning is not warm enough in winter and it’s noisy. Location is bad. In the middle of no where.

The stay was the perfect balance of traditional and modern design elements that make for a peaceful and tranquil environment. Our stay here was very refreshing and relaxing amidst a busy trip. The private onsen and small garden area were a really nice touch as well. The surroundings were quiet and not too far from a train station, which was convenient for going to and from. We only wish we could have stayed longer!!

It would be convenient to have a trash can in the kitchenette area, in addition to the ones in the bathrooms. A pamphlet at the stay or online would have been helpful for operating the bamboo water feature in the garden, too - though we did figure it out without that!
