The cafe next door is really lovely and friendly

The staff were dishonest to their boss about disposing of my medication.

The room is clean, cozy and spacious. It's convenient to see the castle which very close to the hotel.

It's a bit tired to walk up the hill when going back to the hotel.

Appartement non accessible en voiture et trèsproche du château, donc toutes les attractions sont en contrebas. La remontée par fortes chaleurs peut être longue!

Beautiful Property, super clean, the views from the living room are amazing. Has a great and good size sofa bed . Close to many beautiful streets and Walking distance to Sao Jorge castle.

Uber and taxis do not take u all the way up to the hotel. If you have a heavy luggage is going to be hard because the streets are made of beautiful stones that makes it difficult to roll your luggage. They told me taxis would be able to take us all the way up, our taxi refused and got upset, and they drop me and my daughter off with two heavy luggage, we attended a wedding and other events so we had lots of things to carry . This is the only problem, also maybe a bit pricey, but we booked last mini so that could be it.

A very charming place to stay: clean, modern and attractive with a very comfortable bed. Loved the patio! The neighborhood is fantastic and so much fun to explore and every meal we had was delicious. The cozy breakfast/brunch place right next door was a delight!

Most things about the apartment are pretty good. Maybe a little loveless, with anonymous communication and minimal interior, but it’s really worthwhile staying here. So why the low grade? Praising a cosy and clean 16 square meter apartment as a 30 m2 apartment, only because there is a private outside 14m area that simply cannot be regarded as usable living space, is nothing other than a lie. That’s just wrong. So please be honest and praise the apartment as it is. Don’t overpromise and underdeliver.

We stayed with our two teenage children (13 and 15) in apartment 3A, located near the top of the building. Make sure to book a transfer in advance! The streets leading to the apartment are steep, narrow cobblestone alleys that only cars with special access can drive on. Pulling large suitcases up those streets would be very challenging. The apartment offers the most amazing view – it truly does not disappoint. It is very quiet both inside and around the apartment, yet just around the corner you’ll find lively little spots with lemonade stands, ice cream, a bakery, and small street vendors. The apartment itself is charming and a bit labyrinth-like, with a lovely kitchen elevated above the living area. We really appreciated that there were two toilets, which made it very convenient for a family. Communication with the host was excellent before our stay, and we felt very warmly welcomed upon arrival. We loved that we could order delicious breakfast delivered right to the door. Due to a delayed flight, we lost one day in Lisbon, but the host was extremely accommodating and helped move our breakfast delivery to the next day. It was a lovely touch that there were coffee capsules for the coffee machine, as well as cold water and a bit of milk in the fridge for the first morning. We can highly recommend having breakfast at Café Ludos, just next door to the entrance – wonderful people, great food, and a cozy vibe with peacocks peeking in through the door. The apartment is perfectly located right by the Castelo de São Jorge, offering both peace and proximity to central Lisbon. We would absolutely stay here again!
