For the smell and the house wasn’t clean

There was a towel.

Couldn't open the gate. There was no staff and no instruction for checking-in. I had to wait and looked around. The worst thing was checking-out. There was no key in the gate and the door I couldn't open. I had to climb the wall and got out. It was horrible.

The housekeeper that checked us in was very friendly. Restaurants across the street yummy and good value for money.

Bathroom was foul, shower looked like it had never been cleaned. Kitchen dirty and poorly equipped. Room was stinking hot with no AC, dust bunnies under the bed like it had never been swept. Bad communication from host, told we could leave bags at 8:30am and no one came until 10:30am - at least we could check in early because of this.

The location can access to Venice by 6L bus easily.

There are always loud crowds on the street in the evening.
