TJ was an amazing greeter! Met me at the front door of the lobby as I arrived. Had a great conversation with TJ about Hammerin’ Hank Aaron. Only stayed 1 night, but told TJ I will be back soon to stay longer so we can tell stories! TJ, you know my room! Had a great stay and really enjoyed my room. Very clean and bed was very comfortable! I will return sooner than later! Thank you TJ, we will stay in touch for future events!

TJ is an amazingly dedicated host. Great breakfasts and conversation around the kitchen island (and beer for me when we rolled in late!). Great stories of interesting people who have stayed there. Great views. Nice 2.2 mile walk to the Rose Bowl and 2.2 mile uphill hike back up! Expedia should make it clear that this is a B&B and not a hotel. Loved the Moroccan bedroom!

TJ was a fantastic host; we had a great time just hanging out and chatting with him. He went out of his way to make us feel comfort and welcome. I feel like we made a friend for life. The property is beautifully maintained and decorated and the views over LA are spectacular. We will definitely be back!

Staying at the Airbnb was an amazing experience from start to finish. The host went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. The space was beautifully decorated, providing a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The host's attention to detail, like leaving us some delicious French yogurt, made us feel truly appreciated. What really made our stay memorable was the connection we formed with the host. They treated us like good friends and even made time to spend with us. We felt like we were part of their family while staying there. Overall, our stay at the Airbnb exceeded all expectations and we're already looking forward to coming back in the future. -SHREY & KC

If you are looking for a typical hotel experience, this may not be a fit for you. However (and at this point I will transition to poetry): “If you enjoy beautiful accommodations - If you have a penchant for lively conversations - If your cocktail cravings veer toward a lemon drop - If you have an appreciation for views that are non-stop. Then may I suggest the Patrician for your Pasedna stay? It is a unique and special place for a romantic getaway!” As has been mentioned in numerous reviews, T.J. is a top-notch concierge and host. His suggestions provided some real highlights for our weekend! He obviously takes great pride and joy in hosting guests on his amazing property. Truly a memorable time - Bed linens were so soft and the towels were fluffy! It’s those small details that make a stay feel special. The Patrician has so many little touches that make it stand out in a crowd of B&B’s. The pour-over coffee is a totally zen experience that has me re-thinking my current morning ritual. The decor is sumptuous and every piece seems to tell a story. This is a quiet spot - not a party house. There are stairs so take that into consideration. Also - you are asked to remove your shoes upon entering the home, so a pair of inside slippers would be recommended. Thank you, T.J. for a wonderful weekend!!

I have stayed here multiple times, and will continue to stay here any time I’m in LA. Quiet and beautiful. The house and host are a unique experience that adds to any trip, including couples get aways, solo travelers and biz trips (I have done them all while staying here). The proprietor, TJ, is knowledgeable about destinations and landmarks in LA, and very helpful with suggestions and solving any inconveniences that arise. The house is a historic mansion located in the hills above Pasadena with sweeping views of LA. Each of the rooms has a unique layout and vibe. The living room, dining rooms, and kitchen are open to all guests, and decorated with objects collected during the proprietor’s travels. Definitely ask for the stories behind them. Most recently stayed here for events at the LA Convention Center and Union Station, and the location was convenient. I recommend this location to everyone I talk to about traveling to LA, and I recommend it to you, too. Maybe you’ll see me there.

What a find. A great stay in a beautiful location. Very clean and relaxing. Super breakfast with an amazing coffee! The service was excellent. Lovely people and best of all a garden with views to die for. I will be coming back.
