Good location

Very old and dated. Easy to get lost as apartments have same letters and numbers

"Will not stay again"

3.0

Very close to the slope and had a supermarket nearby

To start off with the hotel - if I can call it that, only provides one toilet roll for the whole duration of your stay. When asked if we could have more toilet paper, which was embarrassing anyway, the hotel staff replied with “no it’s one per room” no sorry, no explanation nothing. Very arrogant and rude. The smell of the corridors, which is a mixture of mould, smoke and something out of the sewers was unholy. The carpets had been ripped up and were a trip hazard (see the picture attached). It is clear that the hotel hasn’t been updated since 1980’s. The walls are all scratched and the render is coming off. When we first walked into the hotel we were given a sheet to fill out in case anything was wrong with the room, meaning that they know the rooms are not great. The smell from the dishwasher was disgusting, imagine rotting food that hasn’t been cleared in a month. We had to dress our own bed, and the bedding that was provided was something out of an asylum, ripped sheets. When we first ran the water out of the shower… it was brown, I don’t mean a little bit brown, coffee brown. There is a place where you can leave the skis for the day, slips close at 5pm, you can go down to the lockers, you just have to brave the vile and unbearable smell or hold your breath with the hopes of not fainting. When we wanted to check out we were surprised that we had to pay for the room to store our suitcases for a few hours since the hotel didn’t provide anything anyway…. The prices start of from €2 … for a helmet or towels - we had to pay €9 to leave a suitcase for a couple of hours.

Location, Friendly and proffessional reception, check-in, check-out, additional information. Ski to door. Great view!

Some missing bed linnens in our room. Room too small.

"Perfect stay"

10.0

Incredible location, extremely comfortable. Great kitchen facilities. Perfect set up for a ski/snowboard holiday

Wifi was very slow (paid options are available). Only provided 1x toilet roll. Noisy in the early hours with the snow ploughs at work and some neighbors played loud music at night - but nothing ear plugs can't resolve.

"Temples Du Soleil Aug 2023"

8.0

Location is prime spot in Val Thorens. The basic, good value accommodation is all you need. Apartments are small so I had a 5 person unit for myself which was great. Lots of hot water and a good shower. Free parking is permitted on the street during the summer season. Kettle and toaster provided. Plenty of crockery and pots/frying pan for basic cooking.

The balcony wasn't clean so I swept it up myself. You can hear when chairs are moved on the floor upstairs and whenever they flush their toilet. WiFi was limited, it could stream YouTube or Disney+ via a now box reliably only if all other devices were disconnected.
