The location was good and the place is very pretty

It was a bit cold and we were told it was not possible to turn on the heat until October 15th. Our stay was only until the 11th. Once we checked in the communication with the host was slow

The location and decoration

It was incredibly cold in the property with temperatures showing below 15 degrees in the morning and arguably in the warmest room. They told me during checkin how to turn the heating on, however after they were gone I realised it was only cold air that would come out. I contacted them and then told us they can’t switch it to a heating mode until two weeks after we leave because of local regulations. Interestingly enough many of coffee shop, restaurants and other places in Ostuni all had heating on. I told them I was pregnant and mum was ill but this was ignored and told us to use blankets (which may I point were small and thin and only two between four people). I slept badly every single night waking up to cold. My mum ended up getting fever and chills back by night three. The weather outside was terrible with a huge storm and strong winds so we really had no other choice than to be freezing in the flat. I assume the storm and rain is why nobody wanted to come to flick a button on the central AC/heating unit. When I asked about heaters they said sorry, they are not provided - thank you for your understanding. The storm meant we were stuck there and couldn’t look for alternatives. The accommodation wasn’t cheap and couldn’t fulfil the most basic things it’s meant to do. I also felt mislead by the listing which was for four people, stating two bedrooms and living rooms. Turns out one of the bedroom is a tiny little room on top of stairs which has a single bed in it and therefore the second double bed is actually next to the kitchen cabinets and dining table taking over the kitchen.

Design and set up was great. Also it was spacious! Wow. The place is a gem. Check in lady was friendly and competent. All instruction in e-book on what’s up.

The tourists should follow the garbage regulations. This is pretty strict and I wonder how you manage them if the garbage you produce (apple or banan pills are to be collected on the day you are not in. This could be organized differently.

Para las habitaciones con sofá cama deben de dejar las sábanas y para reservas largas como la de nosotros deberían dejar más toallas. El número de servicio que me proporcionaron al check in no tiene WhatsApp! Deben pensar en el extranjero.

Wat een top appartement is dit! Mooi en smaakvol ingericht, met een groot dakterras en een balkon. En dat vlakbij het historisch centrum van ostuni maar buiten de drukte en het rumoer.

Zou ik niet weten.
