1940 Luxury Accommodations by Wonderful Italy

It was essentially a straight up likeness for a 5 star hotel room. The location was ideal, the room was well appointed, it was clean, comfortable and spacious.

The place was very nice and clean, the location was good.

It was supposedly a two bedroom and the second bedroom was a tiny space inside of the first bedroom, looked kind of like a maid chamber. A small bed and a tiny desk was all that fit there. I would not call it a second bedroom. We felt clautrophobic staying there, so the thrid person eneded up sleeping in the sofa bed in the kitchen. Not a great experience for them. Overall the place was very nice. My biggest problem is with their service. They had a number on whatsApp that they told me to contact in case we needed something but we encountered many issues: 1. They took hours to respond, literally 2-3 hours to get an answer 2. There were three of us staying for 5 days, and they only left one roll of toilet paper and 2 pods for coffee. When I asked if they could bring us more, they rudely told me I needed to buy my own. We ran out of toilet paper and coffee on a Sunday and shops were closed, so we had to wait until Monday to get more. Totally unnecessarily causing a bad experiences for basic amenities. 3. The whole trash situation was confusing, there was a long document explaining how to deal with trash, and which days we needed to take trash out and where we needed to take the different types of trash to be disposed. Tourist don't want to deal with 4 kinds of trash disposal instructions. 4. We were told we needed to leave all the dishes clean, which we did, but they only proviided us with 2-3 diswashing pods... again they give you bare minimum, and then you have to take time from your precious vacation to go buy basic necesitties that they could have easily and cheaply provided. I find it hard to believe that the owner / administrator of this place put so much care in making it a very beautiful place, only to then offer horrible customer service. Being cheap and not willing to provide the basic things people need in an apartment made the whole experience bad for us.

We felt like home, nice vibe and nice location, not toi central, but not too far from center though. Tv with netflix was a big plus.

The floor could have used extra mopping. We stayed for 5 days but did not have a mop at our disposal. Also, taking away the garbage was a bit complicated...we needed to let the admin know so they would pick it up (by categories). Nowhere outside for us to throw the waste directly. Everything else - excellent

The location was great. Walking distance of the centre of Ostuni.

The patio area was a more shady than we had anticipated and we did not use it.

Benny and Carla were amazing and the property is wonderful - a 6th century Palazzo, one of the oldest in town, was decorated beautifully and had all modern amenities including a great shower, patio and wonderful tea and coffee options. The bed was the most comfortable we’ve ever slept in. Stay here!!!

I graded 9 because the floor was not very clean and we didn't have a mop to mop the floor with, either. Also, not very easy to dispose off the garbage. Everything else: very good

Beautifully restored Italian villa, decorated with flair. We had the Diamanté 2 bedroom apartment (more like 1.5 bedroom really, it’s one double and one single bed). Comfortable and well located. You’re close to Via Pola which is the Main Street and Piazza St Oronzo leading to the old town, are a 10 minute walk up Via Roma from the apartment. Parking can be a challenge but you soon get used to it and the Easypark app made it simple to book and extend. The only minor complaints from my partner were that none of the mirrors were well located for applying make up. Excellent, attentive service from the property owners. Would happily stay again.

The apartment was beautiful and huge, with a large bedroom, reception room and bathroom, plus a very attractive little kitchen area and a couple of balconies. It was stylishly and luxuriously decorated with ornate painted ceilings and a seamless blend of antique (mid-century) and modern furniture which also felt very homely, We liked having the two outside roof terraces, using the lower one to have breakfast within view of the bakery we'd bought our pastries from! And the additional communal lounge with its hostess trolley of cocktails was a nice touch. Location-wise, we were a 10-minute walk from the main town square (downhill there and not a steep walk back!) and about 5-12 minutes walk from the bus stops that you may use if coming by train. Street parking seemed OK if arriving by car. It was a lovely place to stay, only marred by the mix-up over checking out.

Although checking-in was fine, check-out was less so. We had arranged for someone to help with our luggage down the stairs to the main entrance. We were on the first floor and it wasn't too difficult to take the luggage out ourselves, but the extra pair of hands would have been helpful. Despite arranging this at check-in and confirming our check-out with the office the next day, no-one showed up at the agreed time. After waiting 20 mins, I chased Wonderful Italy and was told to leave the key on the table. I took this up with the office later that morning and was told they would have helped us if we'd reiterated our request the day before. I didn't think I needed to as they'd said they would be there. It's a shame we ended on a sour note as it was an otherwise great place to stay.

Accommodation and location good. Second bedroom was a little disappointing, however, totally understand the limitations of refurbishing an old building
