The pool was beautiful and refreshing.

We were doing a family cruise of 10. All coming from Michigan, but coming in at different times due to the fact that we are flying in later we chose to separate and stay closer to the Port. You can imagine our disappointment when arriving at the hotel around 7pm, after traveling all day and being told our room was not yet ready. They said the reason was they had a full house yesterday and today my experience is that would be great and hotels should be prepared for something like that. We were told that our room would be ready in approximately 25 minutes and I would get a call when it was ready. We decided to go grab something to eat which we couldn’t do on site because the bar had already ran out of pizza. The bartender was busy, she took my husbands drink order and completely bypassed me. We ended up walking to another hotels restaurant and at 8:25 I called the hotel to ask if our room was ready yet and was told that I wasn’t on the list for her to call but our room was now ready. When we finally got up to our room, there was no soap to wash our hands with, there was hair in the shower and on our bathroom floor, which was disgusting. The bed was made and clean, and it was comfortable to sleep in, but none of the above is anything that I would ever have expected from the Hilton Hotels! The pool was beautiful and refreshing. There was never an apology for us having to wait. Just excuses why it was not ready. Even a coupon for the restaurant/Bar would’ve made people feel better. Obviously, we weren’t the only ones because the entire lobby was filled with people and kids in luggage Hilton Hotels. You need to really do better than this.
