SAMSAM Yao Noi - ANDAMAN MAGIC & ART VILLAS

An amazing location and room, the view and the private pool are perfect..sadly if you are coming with kids the sofa bed that is noted on the size is actually a beanbag .. so this might be a slight issue.

We had a very unpleasant experince with the hotel... The staff's communication and level of english was quite difficult to navigate - with a very late flight and a young son we spoke to the hotel couple of days prior to book a transit back home - we were advised by the hotel and booked the return journey on the boat that the hotel confirmed was 1500 TB, which was a private transfer at 6pm ( which is outside of the standard boats as last one leaves the island at 4.30pm) as we had a late evening flight. The hotel upon checkout give us a n invoice for 4500 TB ( 3 times the price, when standard cost is far less ) - we had no way to leave the island and upon speaking to staff who's english was not able to assist us, we spoke to the manager with whom we confirmed the price 2 times to triple check said the cost is correct and it was per person vs in total.. which would leave us stuck on the island with no way to take our return flights. We ended with a price drop to 3500 as we had no other option, but tin addition to adding a taxi from the boat to airport ( which is 300 on uber / bolt ) they tried to charge us 1 230 for the same service. This felt extremely disappointing and fully felt we were misguided and tried to take advantage of. Had a lovely stay, however this has really placed a bad taste for us leaving the hotel.

Amazing Villas, beautiful place, quiet and lovely, staff are amazing and welcoming and trying to help with everything we asked for. The food was great and pool was great in our villa. Beautiful art all around.

Amazing! Best place I’ve ever stayed.

We’ve been to Koh Yao Noi 3 times now and this was always somewhere we wanted to stay. Due to it being April the rates had almost halved in price. It’s in a great location by Pasai Beach, you can hire scooters through the hotel so perfect for exploring. They picked us up from the pier in a huge truck! The room was huge, great aircon, comfy bed, and the bathroom was amazing the shower could fit 8 people! Breakfast was picked from an extensive menu and brought to the room at the chosen time. Presentation and food was very good. The ground were lovely, pool was so peaceful with a little bar. As it’s the low season we were felt like we had it to ourselves. It also has a huge gym! Which is rare in Thailand. It’s an arts hotel so the artwork was amazing throughout. One thing that would be nice is if you paved the side of the pool where the sunloungers were, the loungers were on soil, which isn’t as nice as the decked/paved part of the pool, but that’s a tiny thing! We hope to come back some day and stay longer!

The most amazing place. Tranquil and luxurious. Nice places to eat nearby and near the beach. Thoroughly recommended for a quiet relaxation.

A little paradise , a private hideaway for romantic couples and nature lovers, very nice service , surprisingly good wine selection , everything delicately furnished and decorated … our favorite : the sea water pool with panoramic view and lots of birds also hornbills in our garden . Indeed a pearl !

The hotel is stunning. Beautiful rooms, an amazing pool area – so many flowers and tropical trees everywhere; it really is like a dream.

You get everything delivered to your room, including breakfast, for example. I sometimes missed having a restaurant, but you get used to it. The only downside is that the kitchen closes at around 5 PM, so you need to order dinner in the afternoon. If you want something to drink or a dessert later, you can't get it, which was a bit inconvenient for us.

Beautiful surroundings and very peaceful

Beautiful small hotel with dedicated and friendly staff. We enjoyed every moment we spent there. The rooms are beautiful, huge and very clean, and the whole atmosphere is pleasant and quiet.
