Outside Inn

Awesome little motel run by a very kind and welcoming couple- very clean and tidy- we had a great stay- our room was on small side but perfect for us. Nice picnic/park area in middle of the grounds with beautiful gardens.Would highly recommend.

Nice peaceful and comfortable stay in Nevada City. We enjoyed the location and walking from the hotel to downtown Nevada city several times during our weekend.

Great little motor lodge we will stay here again for sure.

We stayed in 'The Cabin '. It was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The cabin had a small yard and patio that was great for having some wine and cheese. The kitchen it was stocked with some basic utensils and the 2 burner stove worked great to cook a little breakfast. Great location because it's only a 7 minute drive to either Nevada City Fairgrounds or downtown Grass Valley city. However downtown Nevada City is within walking distance of the motel. Go straight down Pine Street about 1 mile. But if you drive remember to bring quarters for the parking meters. Parking meters are free on Sundays.

Older motel but very well maintained.

The owner of the property was so friendly and welcoming. She gave us plenty of pointers for shopping/food/hiking to make the most out of our time there. Pet friendly, the owner even provides a food bowl and treats for the furry friends! Definitely worth a visit!

Cute little place, very convenient to downtown, darling neighborhood. Stayed in the River Room is was okay. A little musty smell. Hosts were very nice but I was told I would get a text with my code when check in was available to access the door...I did not, had to go to the front desk. I asked at check out for a receipt and was told I would get an email, two days later still have not :-( Sent a text, will call next.

This place is adorable! Charming individually decorated theme rooms. Nice (seasonal) pool. Quiet area but walking distance to old town NC.

We have stayed at Outside Inn many times. Inexpensive , great place close to town. Very quiet and comfortable.
