Outside Inn

We rent the cottage every year for our ladies only Halloween weekend. It has everything you need for cooking and the place is immaculate. Conveniently located near town so walking there is easy. My husband and I have also stayed in several other rooms. The cabin is cozy with a fireplace and kitchenette.

This is a small motel that is keeping up with the times. While the bathroom was a bit dated (but perfectly functional -- nice shower!), the hardwood floors looked brand new, and the room was secured with a numeric-code lock -- you received the code by text when your rental starts. Very comfortable bed. All the rooms have unique decor -- a nice touch. There's even a vintage RV if you want a '60s experience. The owners are a nice couple who will bend over backwards to provide for any wants. I would definitely stay again and would encourage you to come, as long as you're not looking for Hampton Inn sterility.

Cute, clean and friendly. Great location, walking distance to Nevada City, but very quiet. Loved the outside sitting area with a water feature. I would stay here again.

Very clean, cute and friendly. Love the outside court area for sitting with a nice water feature. Had wine glasses in the room, which was a nice touch. Wasn’t the right time of year for swimming, but there is a pool. Also, I forgot to check out the back area that I saw had a golf frisbee game. Dog friendly and walking distance to downtown Nevada City. I would stay there again !

We booked our stay ahead here with other family members and friends for our daughters wedding. Everything was just fine, plus we brought our 2 dogs. love the owners, very kind people. I recommend this place, we will come again. Perfect place!

Classic motor court motel was perfect for a quick anniversary getaway to Nevada City. My wife and I spent our wedding night here 42 years ago when it was called the Airway Motel. Obviously a special place to us and happy to see how it has survived and thrived. Such a unique treasure!

Very nice place have been staying here for years. Having a little dust pan and broom in the room would be a nice addition . Lots of sand.

Always very clean!

I was for a place about an hour away to hunker down and get some work done. The place is really cute, has a nostalgic cabin feel and walking distance to old town Nevada City. I stayed in the Winter room which had the cutest little kitchen. Oh and its dog friendly with special towels, treats, poop bags and bowls for them. Wifi wasn't that strong but I bet not a lot of people go there to do work. Ha! I would go again but not to do work.

This place was so cute! We had a queen in the main room and a twin in the alcove. My 13 year loved the alcove. The room was so adorable and so was the Inn. We will be back.
