Select Sosua Adults Only, Trademark by Wyndham All Inclusive

I enjoyed my first trip to Puerto Plata very much. The staff was clean and friendly if a littlendated in decor. The food was average at the buffet and a little better at the restetaunts . My main issue is that I booked an Adult only (select) hotel. This property is basically 2 properties. There is a select option that i picked that gave you access to certain areas of the properties, such as a buffet dining area right off the main dining area. The international resteraunt, which was nice and access to certain pools that no one used and appeared to be open to the whole hotel. As for "adults" only. I came in on a Tuesday. The weekdays were quiet. It is the low season. On friday it appears that they have family trips booked. They had busses in front of the main lobby depositing famalies each with 3 or more kids. The property was overrun with children on the qeekend. That thin line separating the adult section from the general population became blurred in a chourus or excited children . Young people and parents who were more than happy to ignore them while they overtook the buffet every meal. Yes, you still used the same buffet as everyone, even though you're "SELECT" seating was separated from the masses. Try getting breakfast or lunch, and you had to fight your way through an increasingly chaotic buffet where rules and order did not apply. That said, i had a nice time. I would not take a solo trip there again. It was nice but limited. I did like the location and access to the town (Sosua). Also, the Scuba center was awesome. I tried scuba for the first time, and their patients and professionalism made it a memorable experience. Special thanks to Dasha for showing me a wonderful underwater world she was great . When i come back, i will stay at a smaller place with fewer children and fewer restrictions .

Property location is perfect due to the beach, staff extremely nice in every area but specially the Select adult hotel check in ( Ricardo, Francis y Amal) also the Select adult Bar staff. They made the difference and more enjoyable stay. Select adult area just need for sign showing it’s just for adult and límit the access of the non adult or non select area guest. Also entertainment needs improvement for the adult only area.

Es war einfach wunderschön, wenig Leute wir waren fast alleine am privaten Strand. Essen war sehr gut, Personal extrem freundlich und zuvorkommend! Zimmer sehr sauber! Wir kommen sicher wieder!
