Location is easily accessible and quiet. Room is well equipped, hi-tech, and conducive for longer stays. Contactless check-in and check-out.

No smoking area. Although parking is nearby, there is no special rate accorded for guests. Although the building is just 2 floors, there is no lift. For some elderly guests, going up with bags might be a challenge.

Expedia / Hotel staff did not share the entry code on my email. I had to call them and ask for it. They were very helpful and confirmed my reservation. But there was a momentary panic.

It's a private room with private bathroom. It's about a 15 min walk to the station. Not many restaurants nearby that are open late on weekdays unfortunately. Quiet neighborhood

The hotel itself is unstaffed, so they can't store your luggage early or provide any assistance for check-in/out or any issues in the room.

Excellent choice! Not far from the station, a very cosy appartment with a small balcony, washing machine very useful. Samll kitchenette with everything you need. Overall clean and quiet! 4 people fit without any difficulties. Easy check in/out. Definitely the best one we had over our stay in Japan.

Everything was perfect.

The room was roomy and included a kitchen, washing machine and dryer in the shower room. We also had an adjoining room which was almost identical. Cleanliness was above expectations. It was a 10 minute walk to the train station. There were plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby as well as in the Hiroshima train station. Beds were very comfortable. We did get help from a wonderful young lady to help us check-in as we had gone to the wrong Grand Base hotel. She spoke excellent English and picked us up from the wrong hotel. We were very thankful for her help.

No receptionist. You needed a code to get in. Unfortunately, the message we got from the hotel was only in Japanese with no English translation and we ended up going to the wrong hotel not knowing that there were 3 Grand Base hotels in Hiroshima. It was our error for just looking online for a Grand Base hotel which was the first one listed online.

Good size room. Has its own washer, kitchen, and L-shape couch. A little dusty which I find very strange for a japanese property as they’re always clean. No iron. Location is not ideal for tourists. It’s a 20-min walk from Hiroshima station to the hotel. We were with a local (my nephew) which made it a bit easier. I would get a hotel closer to the train station next time. Self check-in and check-out. The property only has 4 rooms.

Modern, clean, good amount of space and well equipped. This was a great place to stay. It’s also a small place with only a few rooms so it’s quiet. Check in is fully automatic but instructions were clear and we had no issues.
