Excellent location, walk to both Avon Theatre and restaurants

We stayed 2 separate times , two weeks apart. The first room, second floor : - very small washroom, low toilet and small vanity. Room small, no glasses water, no fridge, express cups not matching saucers so slid around, one espresso pod had already been used. Heater noisy all night. No comfy chair. When we arrived, couldn’t parking lot was full so had to pay for parking until theatre crowd left the parking lot. 2 weeks later, same room style on 3rd floor: larger room, large and new bathroom with whirlpool tub, glasses and ice bucket, comfy chair to watch TV and coffee bar, fridge. Everything seemed nicer. Turned off heater overnight so noise wouldn’t disturb, but there a constant background noise that continued all night. So even though the room was much nicer, didn’t sleep well because of the background noise. Next day, overnight snow prevented kitchen staff from coming in so restaurant was closed. No sign on door indicating closure and information about where to get breakfast.

I love the vintage & quaintness of the hotel I also love the restaurant in the hotel

The hotel was great! Staff was friendly and the bed was comfortable.

Service in the restaurant was bad. While we will likely return to the hotel we won’t return to the restaurant.
