Langley Cottage B&B

We liked the Community Atmosphere & Friendliness of the Airbnb. I appreciated having some healthy Food in the Communal Refrigerator for breakfast after a Huge Trip & having access to a Clean Neat Kitchen.

The Double Bed was not comfortable given it caved in at the top and particularly left side..... perhaps needs to be flipped or replaced! I unfortunately woke up very stiff and sore especially after a long drive from Qld too!

This place was not what I expected at all. I was hoping for a nice private B&B, but what we got was really an adventure in cooperative housing. No privacy except in the bedroom, very thin wall were you could hear every conversation and smell every meal being cooked. A porch light shone directly into our bedroom at eye level and I had an argument with one guest that wanted it on so he could eat outside. I insisted that it be off and he finally relented. Did not notice that the provided breakfast was self-serve so you had to cook your own food and wash your own dishes. Not exactly a B&B experience. Also no one available to check you in and our cell phone service did not work in Coonabarabran so we had to go down to the shire council office to get on wi-fi to make the call. Addtionally, I thought the price of $140 AUD very high for the level of service received. As I say, this might work very well for some folks, but I hated it and would not recommend it. By the way, we have been living in hotels for the past 3 months so I have some experience in what constitutes good value and service.

A quaint bed and breakfast in the heart of Coonabarabran. Huge bedroom with a large comfy bed. Shared bathroom facilities which is okay for 1 or two nights.

I found it difficult to find at night as street not well lit.

My husband and I had the single beds room. The room was small but cosy. The beds were so comfortable and the bedding was great quality. It also had an ac/heater which worked well. We were there only one night, but was impressed with the well equipped kitchen, lounge and bathroom complete with heat lamps.
