Canad Inns Destination Centre Portage la Prairie

I booked a deluxe queen room. The room we got had the curtains falling off the rod. The room smelled horrible. They moved us to an upgrade and it was exactly the same room although it didn't smell as bad. The windows in both rooms were so dirty and the rooms were run down...not deluxe rooms.The experience was not good. The desk clerk mentioned Expedia when I asked for an upgrade that I was willing to pay for. I felt we were disadvantaged because we booked through Expedia as to the room type we received. Will never ever book there again. Very disappointing.

Overall a good stay but all ice was out of service. Which didn’t get much help for

Our room was down a hall, then down stairs and down a long hall. We had to carry luggage with no elevator or cart.

The check in clerk was very abrupt. She was not at all pleasent or friendly and actually almost rude. Not someone who should be the 1st person to greet and welcome your guests.

Beautiful but rooms are ancient and need updating

beds need new matress, worn out need replaceing.

The room was totally underwhelming! The guests in other rooms, not the hotel’s fault, were up and running around the halls until 3:00 am.

The only complaint was the carpet was old and smelled , the bed are perfect had a great sleep !!!

Ease of access.

Its a nice hotel, it was clean and quiet.
