Canopy By Hilton Scottsdale Old Town

This hotel was great! It was clean, the room was spacious, and the service was amazing! It is walking distance to art galleries and a few restaurants. The neighborhood is quiet as well. I would definitely stay here again!

Hotel is very nice overall. Restaurant is great, the hotel is nice and modern, and everything is in great shape. The only problem is kind of a big deal though: the walls are incredibly thin. I could hear conversations in the rooms next to me and the noise from the corridor outside my room was clearly audible to the point it would wake me up at night and I’m not a light sleeper. I ended up needing to run a noise maker app on my phone at night. If it weren’t for this I would have given the hotel five stars.

Staff was helpful and food was delicious. Roof top service was great.

Shocking and horrifying experience at this hotel wow. A cook was lounging in the lobby watching videos on speakerphone. I asked him to use headphones. He told me to sit somewhere else. When I challenged this, he stood up towering over me, got aggressive, threatened me, and started ordering me around. When I addressed this with staff I was told a lie that this cook was on the phone with police which was not what I witnessed at all. Management did nothing to resolve this with me. Scary and extremely inappropriate behavior. Travis Lindquist the GM emailed me but did not resolve anything or answer any of my questions. This hotel has a pleasant ambiance. but there is a major management issue at this hotel. The front desk staff is great. The cleaning staff is great. The restaurant(s) and their employees are not managed properly, and they are often disrespectful. The beds are extremely uncomfortable, and the thermostats are a joke. There is no air flow in the rooms. You cannot adjust the temperature or air. It will say a number, but it is unresponsive other than momentarily. I did enjoy some of the staff at this hotel, but there's always an extreme customer service failure that they have to apologize for. I would rather just have the experience I pay for than be treated like garbage.

stayed one night at the canopy excellent location only 15 minutes from the airport and it’s in old town Scottsdale, which has great restaurants. canopy has a very active crowd for cocktail hour on the outside rooftop deck crowd leaves by seven. The rooms are very clean spotless The bedding is comfortable. was great Would stay there again

Location was the only good thing if you need to be somewhere between Scottsdale and Phoenix and if you like tourist kitsch. The room and bathroom were spacious. Least awful experience in the hotel: 30 minute wait to be seated for breakfast. Poached eggs had shells in them I had to spit it out. Then they challenged me on it, they said “We don't see any shells” Well, I order a breakfast to eat, not put in my mouth bite down on sandy and crunchy eggs and spit them out.

Worse than the breakfast was the chair in the room, it had a huge stain right where if someone was lying down and peed or worse. The bed had no mattress protector, the sheet was too small and came loose each night and black dots were on the mattress. They only have a duvet inside two sheets, not an enclosed cover, so when I woke frequently in the night, I realized only the duvet was on me. Do they wash this duvet after every single person in the room? In my research I have discovered that they do not. Perhaps this is a housekeeping time saving choice by the hotel, but it was very unhygienic.. The pillows were cheap and lumpy. The rooftop that was a selling point to me, had club music all day, was dirty, and lazy staff, even asking for a reservation was a hassle to them. They said it will be fine tonight. You don’t need a reservation and I responded that I would like to reserve a specific table and be sure that when I bring my 90-year-old parents, they will be able to sit in the place that is best for them. Response was a roll of the eyes and a sharp “Fine.” I ended up going to a different place, I wasn’t going to pay for rude and skanky servers.

Had a nice one night stay at the Canopy in Old Town Scottsdale. Rooms were clean, modern and had nice amenities in the bathroom as well as a in room coffee machine. Beds were comfortable and rooms were quiet. They have a nice lobby with a restaurant where our friends enjoyed breakfast. We also had drinks on the rooftop and ended up reserving a cabana so that we could enjoy the view, pool and the hot tub. First time staying at a Canopy and the Scottsdale Old Town did not disappoint!
