RESI STAY Hotel SUN CHLORELLA

As a family of four with two teenagers, this property worked well for us. The kids enjoyed the TV/theater/gaming system set-up, the beds were comfortable, and it was spacious so we could spread out. The property was modern and clean. We liked the location - close to restaurants, a cat cafe and easy walk to buses and the subway.

The pillows were uncomfortable

NOT a HOTEL. I missed the one line in the booking description that says this is not a serviced hotel. Despite the word hotel in the name The kitchen area is small but we made it work. There is a lot of car noise If your room is on the main street. The park by the aquarium is good for cherry blossom viewing. We liked the split bathroom setup.

Careful when you pick this hotel. There is no service. More like an AirBnB. Location is challenging depending on your itinerary. The bed was hard, difficult for westerners. Same for the pillows. The pillows for sitting on the floor are also uncomfortable. No rice cooker was provided, but we asked for one and received. You might want to verify availability if you need one. The better grocery stores are a bit far.

No onsite reception

The place is modern, clean, and had the largest room of our entire stay in Japan. It fit 5 adults comfortably. Check in was easy if a little confusing. You check in at a building just outside of Kyoto station but they give good directions and even give you a lift to the hotel even though it's an easy walk from Kyoto station to the hotel.

Nothing. Everything was satisfactory.

Clean. Good for family.

Location was very far from areas we wanted to see like Nishiki Market, Pancho Alley. ECT.
