Plaza Hotel, Preston Lancashire, Sure Collection by Best Western

The hotel needs a complete overhaul, very dated , our room wasn't made up, We didn't leave the room until 12.30 as we were going to a wedding, but we had no clean towels and the room wasn't cleaned. Even though we left the please make up our room on the door. There was holes in the curtains, no plastic cups in the bathroom

Originally a Premier Inn Could do with TlC in corridors and front entrance

Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Bike friendly, handily close to the canal route.

Breakfast is basic but good enough to get going.

Staff were lovely and very helpful

Breakfast were ok , location perfect for our visit.

Hotel bit dated , should have a option to book a table in the PUB as it got very busy around dinner time and we had a 1 hour wait for food.

Breakfast was nice especially the Bacon sandwich Staff very nice too

Room was was not too clean and dusty also stale smell like tobacco

The property was completely run down. It looked absolutely nothing like the photos. It smelled damp and like urine. The bedding smelled like cigarettes. The heaters smelled like burning when you turned them on. There was urine and blood stains on the seats which smelled horrendous. We found hairs and bugs in our bed. The windows had extreme mould. Our stay was so bad we spent the first few hours looking for other hotels which were sadly all booked up. We had booked for two nights and left the keys as there was no one to speak to about the disaster we had. We had to pay for another hotel and early check in.
