"Blue heron went way down hill and dirty"

The view, I have stayed at this motel for 15 years. This year was the worst its ever been.

We arrived around 8 pm and check in was easy. We went in the room and our toddler was walking around and got up on the bed. I looked at her feet which were clean and now we're black on the bottoms. My heart sunk. I immediately checked the sheets, blankets and pillow cases. HAIR EVERYWHERE! NOT ONLY THAT BUT MAKE-UP AND DIRT ON BOTH BEDS. At this point we have only been in the room for 15 minutes. I called the property manager which had gone home and he sent a code to unlock two different rooms for me to check. The were both in the same condition or worse. I spent the next 30 minutes on the phone with booking.com customer service which was not really any help either. I ended up getting a refund but it would not be available to use for 7 to 10 business days which oeft us scrambling to find another hotel and we had to leave at almost 9pm. We ended up having to sit in a parking lot to find another hotel until almost midnight with our toddler, barely any money left to spend on a room because we didnt get our refund back immediately. It ruined our whole 3 night mini vacation .

"It was a pleasant stay"

Loved the location and how clean the room was

They should get queen size beds vs. full size beds and maybe should install ceiling fans to circulate the air
