Inn on Charlotte Boutique Hotel

Used to stay here all the time. The last time before this trip was several years ago. I am not sure if there is new management or what but definitely is not the same and the room was so hot my boyfriend and I couldn’t sleep at all. Pretty disappointing for 600 dollars.

Location and room was clean and bathroom was remodelled.

We were overcharged by $72, and not a single person has responded to our attempts to resolve it. There is no way to get in contact with the property—they don’t answer the phone, and we received no replies to messages before, during, or after our stay. When we finally got through to someone just 30 minutes before check-in, we were told there were issues with Booking.com, but no one took responsibility or offered help. The price we were shown on booking.com was $243.01, but we were charged $267.14, and then hit with a $47.93 charge for a breakfast we never knowingly agreed to. Staff casually asked if we’d be joining for breakfast, and we said yes— after being told it was included in the original cost we paid—only to find our card charged after checkout. It felt like multiple sneaky, back-end charges we weren’t given the chance to approve. We didn’t even receive the room we booked! No communication. No accountability. No refund. The location was great, but that alone doesn’t make up for the stress, lack of transparency, and being charged for things we didn’t consent to. Book directly only if you can find a working phone number and speak to a real person. Otherwise, I’d avoid this property entirely.

Charming place, very quaint, clean and cozy. Love the 3 head showers!! The best shower after a hot day of being outside. Everything is so close within walking distance. Wish I could have stayed longer but we will be back. Thank you Mario!

Loved the courtyard out front and sitting there with coffee in the morning or wine in the afternoon, watching people go by. The breakfast was excellent. And the location was right where we needed to be.

Nobody to welcome you. Shown to a room eventually by a member of staff who showed us to the wrong room type. Nobody available to resolve or any contact details out of hours. No information on breakfast. Didn’t check in or out as nobody available Room next door being refurbished but staff working on it in the evening for hours until after 9.30pm - drilling, hoovering, music and loud talking. Had to ask 3 times to stop until eventually did after 9.30pm. Not happy

Staff was terrific and made our stay great!

Our room was named “haven” and it was exacty that! Right in the middle of historic district, so convenient, nice balcony! Wonderful doors to balcony that blocked out all the fun energy out there when you’d had enuf. A quieyhaven inside💕💕

The staff is Great

Proximity to center …nice clean house. Comfortable beds. Georgina was exceptional!

Room was overheating with central heat until someone switched off thermostat during night. A small closet to hang clothes or drawers would be helpful as there was nowhere to put any clothing just two wall hooks .
