The bathroom door was broken, didn't get the room I wanted

Loved the decor! I appreciate that there is such a place in San francisco that still retains some classic decor in the guest rooms as well as the lobby. Most vintage hotels have destroyed the guest room experience with horrible mid century modern decor that is everywhere today. Why pay high prices for landmark historic hotels when their rooms look the same as average motel chain rooms. The lobbies may be spectacular examples of the Gilded age, but I don’t sleep in their lobbies. I searched long and hard to find a historic hotel with rooms and hallways that also feel elegant and beautiful.

The lobby had an unpleasant odor on entering to check in. Kind of musty. Lots of nasty soil must come in off the streets with the current homeless and drug situation in San Francisco. I could see that the staff worked hard to wash down the sidewalk s and windows.

They didn’t have breakfast on both days of our stay

goede locatie, op loop afstand van het zakencentrum. Sfeervol en gemoedelijk hotel en tussen 16.30-18.00 gratis wijn, frisdrank, thee met kaasjes in de lobby. Bedden zijn goed en badkamer is prima. Vriendelijk personeel.

het ontbijt is simpel, te nuttigen in de lobby, Simpel keukentje met goede koelkast.
