Quality Inn Bemidji

These people running this hotel have to be violating their franchise agreement with Quality Inn. The pool is permanently closed and has a padlock on it. The window to the pool is covered with a tarp. When you peek inside, it is being used for storage. The room smells disgusting. There are stains on the bedspread. I thought that since this was part of the Quality franchise it would be OK for the one night stay I needed, but it is not. Quality is obviously not enforcing its franchise agreements. Third world situation at this hotel.

Are outside needs work. Our room was great and clean. I feel if they cleaned out around the property it would make It much more appealing for people to want to stay there.

So the rooms were clean and adequate... Had kind of a scary moment though.. About 10:00 last night while I was in bed I had somebody try to get into my room... Thankfully I had the security bar over the door and they couldn't get in... Freaked me out pretty bad... Shortly thereafter management came up and asked me when I checked in and skated that they had accidentally given somebody keys to my room... Can you imagine how scared I would have been had I not had the security bar over the door?

This property was unsafe and the outside was overgrown with garbage all over the property. The doors going into the property had no locks so anyone could come in at any time. The desk was not manned at night. The rooms were okay. First impression was awful!

No fault of the property owners but a bad storm went thru Bemidji the day before I made my reservation thru Expedia. I arrived at the hotel an hour after making my Expedia reservation only to find the hotel with no power. No lights, water, and no way to even ck in. Immediately chatted with Expedia to alert them of the problem. After a long while I was informed that Expedia would work with the hotel to remove the charge. Days later I was informed by Expedia that the charge to my credit card would remain as they could not evidently work it out with the hotel. I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company. Not sure if Expedia or the hotel is the issue but customer service was horrible. Not refunding the charge is an unacceptable response givin this situation. I doubt I will use Expedia or stay at this location again.

The outside of this property is riddled with trash. Come on management, doesn't take much to walk outside a pick up the garbage and sweep. At check-in the gal at the counter could care less if we were there. Not inviting or friendly at all. Locks broken on what should be a security door to the outside. Rooms were basically clean. We were in what was supposed to be an accessible room but the only thing that met the requirement was hand rails in the bathroom. If I would have brought my chair into the hotel I would have had a hard time moving around in the room. Breakfast was included in the price of our room but after one sip of pretty cold coffee (this was 6:30am and breakfast started at 6) we did not feel comfortable eating anything they offered. Only saw a few pastries, waffles and fruit as options. This hotel is close to the local airport and I would have thought management would put more pride in this establishment.

The hot tub is out of order. There is a used toilet sitting by the pool. The bed coverings are actually not comforters but curtains. The breakfast is underprepared. The whole place is dirty. I had a queen suite and the jacuzzi jets had a disgusting amount of soap scum and mildew. The vending machine robs you. It stinks. The key cards only work for certain doors. The staff likes to argue. It’s overpriced. They don’t EVER answer the phone. Steer clear of this dump. I hope I didn’t bring home bed bugs

There was a terrible storm with winds in excess of 100 miles an hour. The motel was closed because of area wide power loss. K had to find an alternate place to stay. I could not stay at the Quality Inn in Bemediji.

Felt unsafe. A little noisy. Hotel felt run down. Staff were kind and helpful.
