Too remote and a large abandoned property next door

First of all, my first clue to this place should have been the damaged door to our room. Had I not prepaid for this place I would have left. The room itself was “ok” but the bathroom was awful. The floors had stains on it so not sure if it was clean or not. The only good thing about this place was it being close to the airport. I would not stay here again.

Absolutely nothing other than location.

Everything...this place needs to be inspected. The facility was dirty, the breakfast was non-existent, the indoor pool was not available. But most important, the staff was extremely rude...when we arrived, they were conversing in their native language. When they realized we are a same sex couple, they again began to talk and laugh. This is discrimination!!! Considering the time we arrived, we spent one night, but the next morning when we left for breakfast, we began a search for another location...we would not spend another night. They refused a refund when we checked out. We respectfully would like a refund of the three nights we did not stay.

The property

The location was great for us. Food and gas close by as were freeways

Older place in need of updating. TV wasn't very clear and had 2 white spots on the screen. We didn't change rooms because we were only there to sleep. Driving up to the place, it looked closed and not very welcoming as a big building beside it is closed and uncared for. Carpet full of stains. I stayed here 15 years ago, which is why I booked a room here. Owners were nice.

Said breakfast. Eggs burned. Ran out of waffle mix. Apple rotten. They needed someone to clean up the area. Tables dirty, greasy, cereal all over counter. I never leave a bad review, but this was awful

Reserved 2 queens weeks in advance, but they were "all full" when we checked in, even though they called us earlier in the day to confirm. I asked if there was a discount for the error and the young man politely said they could cancel our reservation and give us money back so we could go somewhere else. It was 11pm and after a day of long flights, we chose to stay. My teenager slept on the couch in the room, it needs steam cleaning but he's a good sport. Toilet seat was very loose; use caution when sitting. Otherwise convenient to airport, and it was a place to sleep which was all we needed. Staff was friendly and I can tell they try to please guests, it just wasn't our night I suppose. Bed was clean. Sign on the pool area indicated it was under repair. Typical breakfast layout.
